AR Aviation Services is an FAA/EASA 145 Repair Station specializing in aviation repair capabilities for various components of Boeing and Airbus commercial aircraft. Our services include the repair of aircraft windows, windshields, flaps, spoilers, ailerons, elevators, and composite/metallic structures. We continually strive to expand our capabilities to meet our customers\' needs. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Shop Manager at AR Aviation Services, located in Tumwater, Washington. The Shop Manager will oversee daily operations, coordinate job scheduling with team members, and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include overseeing repairs, maintaining compliance with aviation standards, supervising staff, and improving operational efficiency. Pay

- $80,000 to $125,000 annually. Benefits

Strong Operations Management Excellent Customer Service and Customer Experience abilities Proven leadership and team management capabilities 10+ years experience in the aviation industry. Airframe and Powerplant License. Drug free industry. Pre-employment drug test. Part of the company\'s Random Drug & Alcohol testing. Shop Manager Typical Duties

Oversees and schedules all customer parts undergoing maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations, using appropriate inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools. Evaluate and prioritize customer turnaround time requirements to ensure customer expectations are met. Advance understanding of the applicable FARs, including the ability to interpret and apply regulations relevant to inspection activities. Utilize skillset in mentoring and maximizing employee efficiency. Ensure that all articles released by the repair station meet FAA, EASA, and CAA of UK entities\’ regulations, airline requirements, and the company Repair Station Manual. Create, maintain, and audit the company\'s FAA, EASA, and CAA of UK training programs. Provide clear strategic direction for the training program and ensure alignment with the organization\'s objectives. Provide adequate resources, budget, and support training to implement the training program effectively. Encourage cross-functional collaboration between departments to identify and address training needs and share best practices. Actively promote a learning culture within the organization by encouraging continuous learning and development for all employees. Regularly review the effectiveness of the training program and work with the training manager to make necessary adjustments. Team Support and Leadership

Support and mentor company employees, providing advice and guidance to ensure efficient completion and reliability of all work. Maintain awareness of employee culture and identify any potential difficulties the company may face and provide proactive assistance and advice. Foster a positive and productive work environment, setting an example for the team through professionalism, organization, and adherence to high standards.
