Senior Project Engineer , PE to join our Water Resources team in the Twin Cities. This is a chance to work with a talented team of professionals and make a lasting impact on the communities we serve. This role supports a variety of stormwater quality, drainage design, and modeling projects for transportation, municipal, watershed, and private clients throughout the Midwest and beyond. We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities. We are seeking candidates with a strong capacity for self-motivation who can apply engineering and water resources knowledge to a variety of projects. The candidate should be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff from various agencies. What You Will Be Doing
Performs detailed design computations Performs preliminary layout, modeling and design Researches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies Assists with project design and preparation of plans and specifications and prepares cost and quantity take-off estimates Assists with plan reviews, stormwater pollution prevention plans, design of stormwater facilities, stormwater detention and retention design, water quality design, and stormwater management planning Lead hydraulic and drainage tasks on projects, and coordinate with other task leads and project managers to deliver projects What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited college or university Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) 10+ years of progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8 and GIS Salary Range:
$115,000 - $140,000 depending on years of experience and credentials Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to specific geographic location. Bolton & Menk reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
