Role Description This is a contract hybrid role for a Social Media Strategist located in Seattle, WA, with flexibility for partial remote work. As a Social Media Strategist at Deux Vingt, you will play a central role in shaping and executing client social media strategies. This position is equal parts strategic and hands-on: you’ll build content frameworks, develop campaign briefs, and guide storytelling approaches across channels while also managing day-to-day execution and reporting. Key responsibilities Designing social media strategies that align with client goals and brand positioning. Creating content calendars and campaign briefs to guide creative and production teams. Managing publishing, scheduling, and community engagement across multiple platforms. Analyzing social performance data, providing insights, and recommending optimizations. Monitoring industry trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to keep clients ahead. Collaborating closely with creative, PR, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive execution. Supporting influencer/creator programs and coordinating integration with paid campaigns. Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting strategies, reports, and new ideas. Qualifications Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO). Proven expertise in Content Strategy and creating engaging, channel-optimized content. Excellent Communication and Public Relations abilities. Experience in analyzing performance metrics and translating insights into actionable strategies. Ability to collaborate across cross-functional creative and marketing teams. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5+ years of professional experience in social media strategy/management, ideally agency-side. Experience in digital marketing, branding, and influencer/creator partnerships is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts.
