as the
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) . Responsibilities
Oversee overall financial administration for the facility; potential responsibility areas include general accounting, data processing, materials management, information systems, and financial reporting. Ensure internal controls safeguard assets and that accounting systems generate accurate and timely financial reporting. Help create and implement initiatives to build and grow the facility; analyze financials to support future success. Consult with the Division CFO and Corporate office on the facility’s financial affairs, goals, and objectives. Develop operating policies and procedures; review product line analysis with the facility CEO and Division CFO. Prepare financial and management reports; manage the facility’s annual operating and capital budgets. Partner with the facility CEO and executive team to prepare the annual facility business plan. Plan and coordinate department functions, evaluate performance, and maintain positive employee relations. Monitor expenses to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction. Participate in Board of Trustees, Medical Staff and community meetings. Direct the preparation of projections to inform leadership of anticipated performance; monitor revenue cycle to ensure cash flow. Work with the Division and joint venture partner on managed care negotiations to maximize payer contracts. Qualifications
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance or related field required. Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration or Business Administration preferred. Previous experience as a hospital CFO. Current knowledge of The Joint Commission, OSHA, and state and federal regulatory standards. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to communicate with management, staff and employees. Ability to analyze situations, evaluate data, and implement actions to improve performance. Ability to interpret and apply guidelines, policies and procedures; sound judgment in decision making. Knowledge of strategic planning and goal implementation. Preferred Qualifications Experience in an integrated health delivery system preferred. CPA certification. Helping all candidates find great careers is our goal.
