Job Summary:
The Executive Director of Display Tier 1 Distribution leads a team to develop the sales strategy including executive engagement, inventory management, portfolio positioning, and profitability at top Tier 1 Distributors. The Executive Director will be the focal point to drive planning, sell-in, sell-thru, marketing, and inventory controls to deliver a healthy, profitable business for Samsung and our partnership. Remote position for all locations. Role & Responsibilities Lead and provide end-to-end oversight for all Display Distribution partner engagement and strategies. Negotiate portfolio product terms across all Display product lines to drive US product availability and profitable growth. Chair discussions across a matrix of teams including Samsung HQ, Sales Ops, Finance, and downstream Sales Teams (Tier 2 and Tier 3) to create a collaborative and transparent cross-team engagement approach. Champion best practices to deliver a healthy channel management plan, eliminate channel conflict, and tailor growth objectives to the strengths of the partner. Create growth strategies for each product line to broaden the reach, delivery speed, and sales enablement. Responsible for day-to-day budget management and reporting to the Finance Team. Lead, coach and develop a team of sales professionals, including goal setting, individual development planning, performance management, and career paths. Articulate and present current state and future sales performance forecast on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. Manage and own a healthy P&L to deliver healthy growth for the Display Distribution business. Other duties as assigned. Skills And Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor Degree required. 16+ years relevant experience leading B2B Tier 1/Distribution sales strategy and execution; experience in the Tech, Electronics, or durable goods business is required. Ability to work independently and travel within assigned geographic territory (up to 50% of the time). Experience with commercial technologies or consumer electronics. Excellent written & oral communication skills with proven ability to provide clarity in complex situations. Deep understanding of Consumer/Shopper/Category data and ability to translate into actionable plans. Proven performance in developing and executing strategies that deliver wins for the consumer, the customer and the company. Understanding of marketing performance by channel and ability to provide clear objectives and success measures linked to the overall business objectives. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high performing teams. Demonstrated ability to create and deliver executive level presentations.
