The Solutions Architect – Messaging & Identity will analyze, design, and implement Microsoft Messaging services and related solutions for our company’s end customers and partners. They will also serve as the technical lead in installing, configuring and upgrading services within our customers’ and partners environments. This position is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management. Role Description
Design, consult, and implement Microsoft messaging and identity solutions and related technologies based on customer requirements including: Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra AD, Conditional Access, Multi Factor Authentication, SaaS Integration, Self-Service Password Reset. Migration responsibilities include latest legacy Exchange and Active Directory infrastructure to M365; plan, manage, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services deployments and migrations. Perform PowerShell scripting for automation, documentation, and standardization; ensure security is integrated into all Microsoft 365 architecture solutions. Develop technical roadmaps for future Microsoft 365 implementations; guide strategic customers as they design and implement Microsoft 365 projects (greenfield deployments, tenant consolidations, business transformations) through on-site and remote engagements. Deliver best practices and recommendations to clients; collaborate with sales in identifying and closing opportunities through customer discovery and scoping meetings and presentations. Plan, manage, and troubleshoot complex customer environments, deployments, and migrations; collect, produce, and update deployment and design documentation for customer engagements. Lead the development of SOWs, ensure alignment with client needs and business objectives; drive revenue growth within the professional services team by identifying new opportunities and optimizing service offerings. Collaborate with SHI Stakeholder partner teams to create synergistic service solutions; engage with SHI sales teams to ensure a unified approach to service delivery and client engagement. Contribute to practice development by identifying areas for growth, leading innovation initiatives, and creating and maintaining practice standards for high-quality service delivery. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners; demonstrate deep expertise in Service Delivery and provide thought leadership on best practices, trends, and innovations in technology. Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge; oversee evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, providing relevant technology/architecture recommendations. Stay current with new technologies and frameworks, retire legacy solutions/technologies, and recommend adopting new partners or solution components. Behaviors and Competencies

Proficiency in overseeing and directing projects to completion; Intermediate Ability to identify, document, and manage technical needs and specifications; Intermediate Ability to design, build, and maintain robust systems and solutions; Intermediate Ability to write, debug, and maintain code in scripting and programming languages to automate tasks; Intermediate Understand and manage infrastructure components (firewalls, load balancers, hypervisors, storage, monitoring, security) and use orchestration tools; Intermediate Develop detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) and drive revenue growth through professional services engagements; Intermediate Extensive experience on large-scale IT projects related to design, deployment, and configuration; Intermediate Other Requirements
Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture or software engineering 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure 3+ years of experience designing, implementing and integrating Microsoft Messaging & Identity technology 3+ years of experience working with and migrating Microsoft Messaging/Identity technology 3+ years of experience developing and executing scripts for automation and deployment Willingness to travel occasionally Preferred Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in Architecture Services The base salary for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary and bonus/commissions, are $150,000 - $200,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
