SAIC is seeking you, our latest experienced Intel Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert in the developing, deploying, and sustaining a National Security Space system. You will play a crucial role in providing recommendations and enabling effective processes and procedures to protect the nations space programs. You will work in El Segundo, CA, and focus on supporting the Horizon 2 contract within the Space C2 Program Management Office. As part of this role, you will be collaborating closely with the Space Systems Command's (SSC) Battle Management Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (BMC3I) Program Executive Office. Your primary responsibilities will involve contributing to the development, deployment, modernization, and expansion efforts of the Space C2 program with an emphasis on Agile software best practices. We know you have in-depth experience with DoD program acquisition processes and documentation and will interact and coordinate daily with numerous stakeholders (Program Managers, Product Owners, Users, Contracting Officers, System Engineers, and external/partner organizations). Responsibilities
Support various systems architecting and engineering activities based upon analysis related to threat awareness, force protection, indications and warnings, mission planning, target development, and damage assessment. Manage intelligence and interface requirements as well as associated verification activities. Provide intelligence support for planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy to include analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, and targeted vulnerability. Support development of system engineering items such as CONOPs, requirements definitions (features, themes, epics), and interfaces to other application development efforts. Support the development and refinement of acquisition strategies as well as identifying program execution issues and provide recommendations when possible. Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor designs and milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements. Qualifications
This is you: Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of related experience with: MASINT, SIGINT, all-source analysis, operations officer/staff, fires officer (joint fires), kill-chain analysis, command staff roles intelligence support, weapons systems acquisitions, and supporting decision analysis. Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable). Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination. Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of Agile and/or DevSecOps development processes. Knowledge of systems engineering processes, tools, and techniques. Experience within the National Security Space and/or the Space Control mission area. Experience working in a development environment and/or U.S. Government weapons system program office. Completion of advanced military courses such as the AF Command and Control Warrior Advanced Course (C2WAC), USAF Weapons School, Air Component Senior Leader Course (ACSL), Weapons Instructor Course (WIC), Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAWS), School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), Pre-Command Courses (PCC) and Functional Commander Development Courses, Advanced Joint Warfare Course (AJWC), or similar DoD or Joint advanced training. Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
