As a

Security Professional - Chemical Site Patrol - Full Time

in

Goleta, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. You will help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment by conducting regular patrols throughout a dynamic chemical or petrochemical location. You will remain visible while monitoring assigned areas, responding promptly to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. Position Details

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM; Tue 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM; Thur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM; Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those related to chemical and petrochemical operations.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments.

Monitor access points and restricted areas to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of site activity.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance issues found during patrols.

Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to address incidents or unusual situations within the location.

Remain alert to site-specific risks and hazards associated with chemical and petrochemical operations while performing patrols and other assigned duties.

What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred

Possession of a guard card or security license is preferred

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred

Experience with alarm panels is preferred

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws; Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws

Drug screen as permitted by law

Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment

Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
