Regional Medical Center San Jose is a Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center with thrombectomy capabilities, and STEMI receiving center. Our campus was renovated in 2015 and offers a comprehensive array of inpatient and outpatient services, including neuroscience and neuro-interventional radiology programs and world-class trauma, stroke, and cardiac services. High acuity, 24-bed, mixed ICU with a variety of complex pathologies (all ICU patients except trauma) Care for bread-and-butter med/surg ICU patients as well as cardiovascular and neurosurgery 2 Intensivists 7 am–7 pm & 1 Intensivist 7 pm–7 am EMR: EPIC ICU Medical Director who is also Chief of the Medical Staff Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO) A commitment to excellence in clinical service with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting Active California medical license preferred Scheduling
Block schedule with roughly 1/3 night shifts Key Responsibilities
Care for the full spectrum of critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Living And Working In San Jose
