Overview
CSO is looking for a Program Director for the Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) and Respite Emergency Program (ESP) in Florence. The Program Director provides clinical and administrative leadership of the CCS/Respite Program, oversees staff at the CCS/Respite location, provides clinical leadership, monitors program access and availability, assesses clients for admission, develops residential programming, oversees nursing and healthcare procedures, and consults with case management staff. Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the CCS/Respite division of ESP, including client access, case flow, staffing coordination, interface with community providers, and regulatory compliance Provide administrative on-call support as needed in cooperation with other ESP Directors Support the Senior Director’s oversight and goals for the program, including workflow review, operational issues, communications with providers and internal staff; maintain regular, timely communication with the Senior Director regarding clinical, procedural, operational, staff, and safety issues Provide clinical and administrative supervision of assigned CCS/Respite staff including Nurse Manager(s) and clinical staff Promote a positive, person-centered, trauma-informed team culture Remain knowledgeable of CSO Policies and Procedures applicable to CCS/Respite, including overseeing insurance authorizations and billing relevant to CCS/Respite clients Collaborate with the Senior Director to coordinate with DMH on the DMH Respite contract fulfillment as applicable, meeting with DMH personnel as needed Maximize a community-based service model, participate in ED diversion where possible, and work to achieve MassHealth Community initiative goals Adhere to the philosophy of customer satisfaction by providing reliable, responsive, consistent, trauma-informed, high-quality service in a timely manner to staff and external customers Provide project management when assigned, such as leading the Regional Work Group, coordinating technical trainings, and serving as liaison to the IT Department Oversee and complete chart audits and other utilization review activities as assigned Collect, record, and distribute statistical information and generate reports as necessary Qualifications / Background
Clinical Master’s degree with at least three years of experience in the evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents, adults, and families, and mental illness Independent licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) preferred Extensive knowledge of Crisis and Respite programs Three years of supervisory and management experience Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
