Investment Operations Analyst
– Boston, MA (Remote) Contract-to-Hire | $20/hour | 40 hours/week
An elite investment management firm headquartered in Boston is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join its Fixed Income team. This is a remote, contract-to-hire role with an initial term of 6+ months, offering an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to launch their careers in finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor client portfolio activity, including cash flows, daily expenses, collateral positions, and receivables
Retrieve and analyze data from custodian banks for portfolio reporting
Assist in the preparation and review of monthly control books and audit documentation
Investigate and resolve portfolio discrepancies using Bloomberg and internal systems
Perform account reconcilations using Excel to ensure data accuracy
Meet reporting and project deadlines with precision and efficiency
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance (required)
0–1+ years of relevant experience, including internships
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
