Sr. Manager, Search and Recruiting - SDL Search Partners
A leading independent RIA with over $7B in assets under management is seeking a Client Advisor to join its Boston-based team. This is a long-standing client of our firm that we have made several placements with. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, motivated professional with 3–6 years of experience in wealth advisory and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
The Client Advisor will support and deepen client relationships through holistic financial planning, account administration, and collaborative engagement with internal teams and external partners. The position requires strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the day-to-day contact for high-net-worth clients, delivering responsive and personalized service
Assist Lead Relationship Managers with client meeting preparation, execution, and follow-up
Coordinate financial planning activities, including data gathering, plan development, and delivery
Facilitate communication with clients' external advisors (tax, legal, insurance)
Oversee account setup, transfers, and maintenance with custodians
Manage charitable and gifting strategies on behalf of clients
Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and cross-functional projects
Qualifications
CFP designation required; candidates on the CFP track may be considered
Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in financial planning software (e.g., MoneyGuidePro, Holistiplan), CRM systems, and Microsoft Office
Professional, collaborative, and client-centric approach
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Pay and Employment Details Base pay range:
$90,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
