Automotive Associate Field Performance Coach Zone 1

Job Summary
Drives awareness and education of OEC technologies and automaker competitive pricing programs. Increases overall parts sales through performance coaching and regular visits with automaker and Dealer partners in an assigned territory to improve customer satisfaction and product utilization.
Location and travel
Candidates can live in any major US market with very close proximity to an international airport. Strong preference for candidates in Atlanta, Minneapolis, New Orleans, or Chicago. Willing to travel frequently throughout the U.S. by car and plane (75-80% of work time, about 3 weeks out of 4 each month).
Key Responsibilities
Visit Dealers to ensure OEC product performance is optimized through business process consultation, training/education, and data analysis. Develop customized coaching plans based on dealership needs and goals.
Coach dealers and staff in utilizing OEC solutions and creating customized selling approaches to optimize dealership sales and operations. Train on effective sales techniques, customer approach, and product knowledge.
Work closely with OEM and Dealer partners to build cohesive team environments focused on selling more parts.
Monitor dealership performance and provide ongoing support and guidance.
Collaborate with dealership management to develop action plans for achieving performance targets.
Execute and track fee-based field engagements as sold by Customer Success and Direct Sales; provide recap and outline next steps to Dealer at conclusion of each engagement.
Create and analyze reports through internal OEC systems; identify market/Dealer trends and conditions driving results; share summaries with management for continuous improvement strategies.
Implement action plans including weekly market visits based on usage data to improve Dealer performance and satisfaction with OEC solutions and to optimize parts sales.
Manage projects related to increasing value of OEC technology (pilot programs, Dealer meetings, industry forums, or supporting OEM events).
Partner with Customer Success to coordinate field activities and identify opportunities for future field support; relay follow-up actions post market visit in a timely manner; support revenue initiatives within the territory in collaboration with Direct Sales and National Accounts.
Utilize and enhance the functionality of OEC’s CRM to maintain complete call records and valid customer/account information as well as sales leads to support increased product usage and sales goals.
Education An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related discipline is preferred.
Experience At least 1 year of account management or consultative sales experience in a market-driven environment with a customer-oriented background. Proven experience as an automotive performance coach or similar role within the automotive industry is highly preferred.
Proven results-oriented sales, account management, or performance coach background with a track record of driving performance.
Assertive, initiative-taking; a self-starter.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with automakers, dealership personnel, and industry partners.
Strong organizational abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
Travel Frequent travel throughout the U.S. by car and plane is required (at least 75% of scheduled work time); travel may vary based on business needs.
Compensation The position offers a base salary of $65,000-$75,000 plus up to 15% bonus, with total annual compensation potential in the high 80s to low 90s.
