Patent Agent
to join its Intellectual Property team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality patent matters across diverse industries and technologies. About the Role
The successful candidate will have
at least two years of experience
preparing and prosecuting patent applications, responding to office actions, assisting in opinion preparation, and performing prior art searches. This position covers a variety of technical fields, with a focus on: Electrical and mechanical engineering Artificial intelligence (AI) Additional expertise in
bioengineering, computer science
or related areas will be considered a strong plus. Responsibilities
Draft and prosecute U.S. patent applications. Respond to USPTO office actions. Conduct prior art and patentability searches. Assist in preparing legal opinions related to patents. Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop strategic IP protection plans. Qualifications
Undergraduate or graduate degree in
engineering, bioengineering, computer science
or a related technical discipline. Strong academic credentials. Registered to practice before the USPTO. Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills. Location
This position may be based in
any of the firm’s U.S. offices . Job function
