Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Systems Engineer to serve as the Integration & Testing (I&T) Manager for the Airspace and Surface Radar Reconnaissance (ASRR) system. The I&T Manager will be responsible for managing the ASRR Systems Integration Lab (SIL), overseeing configuration management, and ensuring successful integration and testing of ISR systems including sensors and communications technologies for military ground platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with the U.S. Army, foreign military clients, and internal engineering teams to ensure successful integration of ISR systems into military operations, meeting mission-critical requirements and operational demands. Responsibilities

SIL Operations and Testing Management:

Establish system readiness and conduct readiness assessments to begin integration lab operations Testing execution:

Execute system-level tests using full mission configuration to verify operational capability including test coordination, scenario execution, and system performance validation Configuration status:

Validate SIL configuration and calibration status prior to formal testing, confirming configuration baseline, software versions, and equipment readiness Laboratory operations:

Manage day-to-day operations of the ASRR Systems Integration Lab ensuring adequate resources for testing GCS functionality and cybersecurity requirements including correct software versions, server hardware, and lab equipment Subsystem coordination:

Coordinate integration testing between ASRR subsystems including aerostat, ISR sensors, ELINT, and ground control elements Configuration Management and Baseline Control

Configuration procedures:

Establish and manage configuration procedures for both SIL development and ongoing operations including CM process documentation, version control implementation, and baseline establishment procedures Baseline integrity:

Manage formal design baseline definition, design freeze coordination, and configuration item identification while maintaining baseline integrity As-built validation:

Ensure SIL implementation aligns with established design baseline through as-built documentation review, physical configuration audits, component verification, and discrepancy resolution Quality Assurance and Installation Oversight

QA oversight:

Provide QA oversight during SIL setup including installation inspection, workmanship verification, safety compliance checks, and non-conformance tracking Test data integrity:

Maintain quality and reliability of test data during and after test execution through data accuracy validation, anomaly investigation, and coordination with test teams to ensure trustworthy outputs Cybersecurity:

Implement cybersecurity requirements and ensure secure operations within the SIL environment Documentation and Partner Coordination

Documentation:

Generate formal documentation and manage acceptance of SIL verification results including test report compilation, acceptance criteria verification, and stakeholder approval coordination Partner status tracking:

Track status of partner development efforts to understand impact on future dependent activities and mitigate potential problems Interface documentation:

Develop and track status of Interface Design Documents Interface coordination:

Coordinate integration activities between multiple contractors and ensure interface compatibility System Development and Integration

System specifications:

Contribute to the creation of system specifications, architecture, and requirements documentation for ISR systems, ensuring solutions meet operational needs Testing and verification:

Support system-level testing and verification efforts for ISR technologies, ensuring systems operate effectively in operational environments Troubleshooting:

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ISR systems integration and performance Standards and regulations:

Ensure all ISR system components comply with military standards (MIL-STD, MIL-PRF) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) regulations Field Support and Customer Interface

On-site support:

Provide on-site technical support during deployment, fielding, and operational use of ISR systems Customer liaison:

Serve as technical point of contact for U.S. Army personnel and foreign military clients, providing updates on system performance and integration progress Training development:

Assist in development and delivery of training materials to ensure military personnel are prepared to operate and maintain ISR systems Risk management:

Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for system integration and performance issues Required Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related STEM field Experience:

Minimum 10 years of experience in applied systems engineering methodology with focus on integration and testing of complex systems; demonstrated experience managing integration laboratories and test facilities; experience with ISR technologies such as EO/IR, radar, SIGINT, or similar sensor systems; proven track record in configuration management and quality assurance processes Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with integration and testing of ISR systems on military platforms (ground, air, or naval); solid understanding of communication systems and data processing technologies; experience with laboratory management, test equipment, and calibration processes; advanced computer skills and ability to quickly learn new engineering software tools Tools and Management:

Applied experience in systems engineering lifecycle management tools such as Innoslate MBSE, Cameo Magic Draw, DOORS Next, or equivalent; experience with configuration management tools and version control systems; knowledge of military standards (MIL-STD, MIL-PRF) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) regulations; understanding of cybersecurity requirements and secure facility operations Communication and Leadership:

Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interface with military personnel, foreign clients, and cross-functional engineering teams; experience coordinating activities across multiple organizations and managing stakeholder relationships; strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in both lab and operational settings; ability to travel to military installations and overseas locations as required to support the project Additional Requirements:

Must be eligible for U.S. government security clearance (Secret minimum) or possess current clearance; prior experience working with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts and international military operations highly desirable; ability to work effectively in dynamic, fast paced, and multinational environment; experience with CDRL preparation and contract deliverable management preferred Company EEO Statement
