Lead Software Strategy & Execution
— Define and deliver the software product roadmap across multiple functions and teams. Build and manage a high-performing organization focused on innovation and delivery excellence. Executive Collaboration & Customer Focus
— Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure technology solutions meet business needs and enhance user experience. Technology Vision & Budget Ownership
— Align technology strategy with McKesson's MAPS goals. Manage significant budgets and vendor relationships to support scalable growth. Implementation Leadership
— Oversee the rollout of new technologies, ensuring alignment with financial, operational, and security requirements. Innovation & Industry Awareness
— Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor technologies to ensure McKesson remains a leader in healthcare innovation. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred) 13+ years of professional experience in software engineering or IT, and 6+ years in senior leadership roles with proven success in managing large-scale projects and teams Skills & Competencies
Deep understanding of software development, systems architecture, and enterprise platforms Strong leadership and team-building capabilities Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Strategic planning and analytical thinking Experience with operational policy development and performance metrics Familiarity with data security and compliance standards Compensation & Benefits
We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered. Base Pay Range for this position:
