We’re looking for an experienced, organized, and creative Lead Editor who not only has top notch technical skills when it comes to creating engaging longform content, but also knows how to manage and mentor a team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is excited about the opportunity to shape one of the biggest channels on YouTube. You should have at least 3-5 years of professional video editing experience, with a few of those years spent leading or managing a team of editors. Top notch skills in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, storytelling, YouTube as a platform, and leadership are essential. Who you’ll work with
You’ll work closely with Nick DiGiovanni, along with the wider content team including producers, videographers, and editors. As Lead Editor, you’ll also help review and guide the work of other editors on the team, ensuring every piece of content meets standards of quality, consistency and creativity. What you’ll bring to the team
3-5+ years of professional editing experience Expertise in the Adobe suite (specifically Premiere and After Effects) Experience leading or managing other editors or creatives Strong storytelling instincts, with a deep understanding of pacing, structure, and retention for YouTube Ability to make complex 2D graphics that elevate stories and videos Great organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines with ease A collaborative attitude and understanding of how to balance different perspectives on a team A degree in film, video production, or a related field (preferred but not required) Bonus: experience with color, sound design and mixing audio Seniority level
