Partner Development Manager, Revenue & Finance Automation Overview

The Partner Development Manager (PDM) for Revenue and Finance Automation (RFA) will oversee and expand Stripe's network of product and ecosystem partners for Billing, Tax, and Revenue Recognition. This role focuses on growing the RFA ecosystem via new partner motions that require both partner recruitment and ongoing relationship management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, GTM) and external partners to develop and execute new product and ecosystem partnership models, while managing existing partners to deliver growth at scale.

What you’ll do

Partner Strategy and Leadership: Drive strategic initiatives to expand the partner ecosystem, identify opportunities, and develop growth strategies for Stripe’s SaaS offerings, contributing to Stripe’s broader growth objectives.

Partner Expansion and Onboarding: Identify and pitch target prospective partners that align with Stripe RFA users; lead end-to-end negotiations to onboard new partners with favorable terms to Stripe.

Partner Management and Optimization: Manage existing partners with regular check-ins, track performance, and ensure reporting and payment obligations are met.

Ecosystem Management: Develop insights across the partner ecosystem, use data to drive decisions, and maintain a transparent, value-focused partnership environment.

Who you are We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum Requirements

10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate development or related field

Thorough understanding of product partnership dynamics and business models

Experience executing industry-wide partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences and go-to-market models

Proven ability to navigate technical requirements and workflows

Experience negotiating commercial deals with technology partners, including scaling such deals across multiple partners

Experience working in product-centric environments with significant internal and external dependencies

Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at various levels

Operational mindset with ability to manage complex relationship activities and maintain clear vision and processes

Preferred Qualifications

Experience related to payments, marketplaces or SaaS platforms

Background in Technical or Product roles

Background in Channel Partnerships, especially in SaaS

Experience in sales or go-to-market roles in payments or SaaS

Location and Work Model Hybrid work at Stripe: This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). In-office expectations and remote work definitions are described by Stripe’s policy.

Compensation and Benefits The annual US base salary range for this role is $181,200 – $271,800. For sales roles, this range includes On Target Earnings. Benefits may include equity, bonuses, 401(k), medical/dental/vision, and wellness stipends. The exact compensation is determined during the interview process based on location, experience, and qualifications.
