Diagnose and treat individuals with speech, language, voice and fluency impairments. Maintain productivity standard averaging between 80-85% depending on location (GHA, GHBC, TVA, FH of DC). Perform hearing and/or speech and language examinations to assess degree of impairment. Evaluate hearing and/or speech and language test results. Evaluate barium swallow results and/or other test results and overall medical background information. Diagnose patients and formulate treatment plans for speech, language, fluency, voice or swallowing impairments. Educate patients and family members about communication techniques or strategies to cope with impairment. Write reports and maintain client information for evaluation, treatment progress and discharge. Perform administrative responsibilities, coordinate paperwork and schedule case management activities and/or recordkeeping for administrative, billing and caseload purposes. Develop individual and/or group activities and/or programs to manage speech, language or swallowing problems. Participate in and write reports for meetings regarding patients\' progress. Instruct clients with techniques for more effective communication. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program Experience: 3-5 years of related experience preferred Licenses/Certifications: State License and Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Excellent verbal and written communication Service orientation Active listening Instructing Monitoring Critical thinking Benefits
