As the Senior Director, Global Brand Management - Footwear, you will lead the global marketing strategy for our growing footwear category. You will report to the VP of Brand Management with accountability to the GM of Footwear and will shape positioning, storytelling, and go-to-market execution for Arc’teryx footwear. You will work cross-functionally with Design, Merchandising, and Commercial teams to drive awareness, engagement, and in-channel conversion while building a strong emotional connection to our guests and consumers. This role offers the chance to lead and inspire a team and to scale a key product category within Arc’teryx. This role is based out of our Portland office and is expected to be performed on location. The Brand Marketing team connects guests with the Arc’teryx brand, crafting content and experiences that are relevant and true to who we are. The Arc’teryx Footwear team focuses on innovative, high-performance products for core mountain athletes across climbing, hiking, and trail running. The teams collaborate with brand management, creative teams, athletes, ambassadors, community partners, and agencies to bring stories to life and redefine the industry through curiosity and collaboration. Responsibilities

Defining and evolving the Arc’teryx footwear brand narrative to differentiate in the outdoor and performance footwear market Strategically partnering with Product, Merchandising, and Commercial teams to align marketing with product roadmaps and sales strategies Developing and implementing the global marketing strategy for the footwear category in line with brand values, business goals, and consumer insights Overseeing integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal storytelling with cross-functional teams Leveraging data, analytics, and market research to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities Collaborating with sports marketing, ambassador programs, and brand partnerships to amplify footwear within key communities Building, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performing marketing team and cultivating a culture of creativity and excellence Establishing KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness and sharing insights with Brand Leadership Future Focus

Advising the direction of global footwear expansion with senior leadership Enhancing seamless consumer journeys across digital, retail, and emerging platforms Collaborating with design, product, and supply chain to align marketing with innovation and inventory trends Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, or related field 10+ years in a similar role (brand, product, or category marketing), preferably in footwear, outdoor, or performance apparel Experience leading global marketing strategies and launching high-performance products in competitive markets Strategic thinker with deep understanding of consumer behavior, digital trends, and brand storytelling Data-driven decision maker with ability to translate insights into marketing strategies Passion for outdoors, innovation, and performance-driven products aligned with Arc’teryx values Strong communicator and relationship builder across all levels of the organization Verbal and written communication skills with strong collaboration ability Versatile, adaptable, and with strong business acumen for strategic planning Experience leading projects in a multi-functional, multicultural environment Commitment to continuous improvement, empathy, teamwork, and breakthrough thinking Proven track record in footwear space and growing market share Ability to balance autonomy with collaboration and adapt to ambiguity Ability to set a clear vision and align teams to objectives Proactive in identifying root causes and developing solutions Compensation and Location

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is USD 188,000 – 259,000 per year at the time of posting. Within the range, pay is determined by market location, skills, experience, and education. The upper end is typically for candidates with exceptional directly transferable experience. This base pay excludes bonuses and benefits. Seniority level
