The Los Angeles, CA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice. This role requires extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies and opposing counsel. Responsibilities
Admitted to practice in California and have at least eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of experience in employment law matters. Prior employment litigation experience is required (preferably on the management side), including experience handling single plaintiff employment claims as well as PAGA, Wage & Hour, and FEHA matters. Employment counseling or in-house employment law experience is preferred. Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions. Strong writing and analytical skills, ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfort with direct client interaction and representing clients across multiple jurisdictions under the firm’s nationwide capabilities. Qualifications
Licensed to practice in California. 8–15 years of employment law experience. Substantial employment litigation experience (preferred on the management side): single plaintiff claims, PAGA, Wage & Hour, FEHA. Strong written and analytical abilities; effective at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting. Demonstrated initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Minimum Salary: USD $210,000.00/Yr. Maximum Salary: USD $240,000.00/Yr. Benefits
