Program Director/Program Manager - Wound Care
Overview
Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across over 600 sites. The company aims to deliver differentiated, quality outcomes to as many patients as possible through outpatient clinic partnerships. The Program Director/Program Manager is responsible for the management and strategic growth of the Wound Care Program for the assigned area, including day-to-day center operations, staff management, financial management, quality/performance improvement, and community education. This role maintains collaborative relationships within and outside the hospital organization and fosters effective working relationships between Healogics and the hospital. All Healogics employees must perform their job responsibilities according to Healogics policies, hospital policies, accrediting organizations, federal and state regulations, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, as applicable. Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Manages the Center’s Operations (20%): oversees day-to-day management of outpatient clinics and related wound care programs; assesses clinic flows and processes, identifies improvements, and implements best practices to improve outcomes; ensures availability of resources, supplies, equipment and services; facilitates information flow and communication; prioritizes responsibilities and directs the work of the Center’s clinical and non-clinical staff; collaborates with healthcare providers and Medical Director on clinic and patient needs; manages direct reports with HR support, including interviewing, hiring, coaching, performance management. Performs Financial Management (10%): manages revenue cycle for Healogics and hospital partner as appropriate; stays current with reimbursement changes; reviews financial reports and trends; tracks ancillary revenues; manages costs through labor and supply utilization; works with the Healogics support team to complete financial reviews and present results to hospital leadership. Manages Community Education/Marketing functions (40%): collaborates with hospital and Healogics marketing teams to establish strategic marketing plans; identifies key referral sources and develops relationships to increase referrals; maintains and updates physician practice lists within a given radius; visits physician practices to raise awareness of the Wound Care Center program and documents interactions in the CRM system; communicates goals and referral development information with hospital executives as needed. Manages Quality/Performance Improvement functions (10%): implements and manages a continuous Wound Care Center Performance Improvement Program aligned with the partner hospital’s PIP; participates in hospital committees and ensures proper documentation; monitors patient, referring physician and customer satisfaction; ensures compliance training is completed and fosters a culture of escalation for compliance concerns. Manages Relationships (15%): maintains strong relationships with the hospital client, aligns with hospital goals, and ensures program compliance with Healogics standards; builds relationships with panel physicians and clinical staff; engages hospital leadership and participates in regular meetings; performs other duties as required. Required Education, Experience And Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field preferred with 1 year of marketing/community education in healthcare or clinical operations experience; or Associate’s degree in the same fields with 2 or more years of marketing/community education in healthcare or clinical operations experience; or High School Diploma with 4 years or more years of marketing/community education in healthcare or clinical operations experience; management experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including group presentation abilities Strong analytical and quantitative skills Strong customer service and follow-up skills Strong organization and time management, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Leadership, teaching, relationship-building, and motivational skills Ability to travel overnight Physical Demands

This range is an estimate based on qualifications, education, experience, geography, and other considerations permitted by law.
