Insight Global is seeking a Senior Storage/Backup Engineer responsible for collaborating with the senior engineer to manage storage and backup environments (on-premises and cloud) efficiently and maintain stability. This team’s main initiative is developing a strong backup strategy during a migration from Dell Unity to Dell PowerScale. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively with different teams and lead backup and recovery processes for production systems. Onsite in Boston 3 days a week; compensation range is $60-$70/hr. Responsibilities

Configure storage arrays, troubleshoot NAS/SAN, and resolve backup issues. Lead backup and recovery processes for production systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement a strong backup strategy during the Dell Unity to Dell PowerScale migration. Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Storage/Backup Engineer Experience supporting storage, storage security, and administering storage and backup Experience with Data Domain (Data Backup and Recovery Appliance) and Networker (Dell Backup Software) Experience with SAN Brocade switches Experience with Dell PowerStore Reliable vehicle for transportation; networking background Any VMware experience from an integration standpoint Experience working at Dell/EMC We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
