Overview
Infosys Limited is seeking an AI Engineer. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions, and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will identify best-fit architectural solutions for projects, design applications, and provide support and guidance to project teams on complex coding and issue resolution to ensure high-quality technical solutions within your technology specialization and in compliance with Infosys guidelines, policies, and norms. Responsibilities
Identify best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects.
Develop design of applications and provide regular support and guidance to project teams on complex coding issues.
Ensure best-fit and high-quality technical solutions within area of technology specialization and in compliance with guidelines, policies, and norms.
Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
Located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX; Raleigh, NC; Hartford, CT; Tempe, AZ; Indianapolis, IN, or willing to relocate to the area.
At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
At least 3 years of experience in AI, data engineering, creating data pipelines and processing large volumes of data, LLM-based systems, and ML engineering/MLE.
At least 3 years of experience in Gen AI/Agentic AI to drive development and deployment of next-generation AI solutions using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI frameworks.
Strong Python programming skills with ML/AI libraries (Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, PyTorch), TensorFlow, NLP.

Preferred Qualifications
Scalable AI Solution Deployment – design and implementation of scalable AI and Data Science solutions for large-scale, distributed data and compute workloads across hybrid and cloud-native environments (OCI).
Performance Tuning for AI/ML and GenAI workloads – hyperparameter tuning and performance optimization to maximize accuracy, efficiency, and resource utilization.
AI Full Stack – experience in Python/Java/.NET/React/Node.js, Flask/Django, REST APIs, Terraform automation.
Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment.
Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
Travel The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Must be able to communicate via telephone, email, or in person. Travel may be required as per job requirements.
