Machine Learning Engineer will design and implement Gen AI solutions including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and fine-tuning Develop and deploy machine learning models in production environments Build and optimize data pipelines to support AI workflows Create and maintain APIs for integrating applications with ML models Host and manage AI solutions on AWS infrastructure Collaborate closely with data scientists to align engineering with modeling needs Enhance technical solutions to improve scalability, reliability, and performance Participate in hands-on development of AI-powered applications Contribute to the design of application architecture for AI systems Drive innovation in AI delivery through technical leadership and experimentation Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience Solid 5+ years of hands-on development as Machine Learning Engineer Strong programming skills in Python and Java Experience with Gen AI solutions with Large Language Models, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Prompt Engineering and Fine tuning Solid experience with developing Python-based APIs (FastAPI/Flask) Design and develop machine learning and deep learning systems using ML algorithms/frameworks Demonstrated work experience using AWS services: deploying models in SageMaker, cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake or RDS for analytics data hosting; EC2/EKS setup Work with data to create models and perform statistical analysis, train and retrain models to optimize performance Run machine learning tests and experiments The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce\'s sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
