We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic

Senior Director, Asset Management Compensation

to join our dynamic team. This high-visibility role manages special, enterprise-wide compensation projects across the SLC platform. The ideal candidate is expert in financial modeling and data analytics, with the ability to translate complex information into executive-ready presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors. Partner across HR functions, with Sun Life and SLC business partners and external vendors, to develop, implement and administer innovative, business-oriented solutions with measurable outcomes that optimize financial investment and deliver a modern, compelling, and integrated rewards experience for each employee. Champions SLC's compensation philosophy and partners across HR and the business to ensure compensation programs are designed and delivered in alignment with business and HR objectives. Manage special enterprise-wide compensation projects across the SLC investment management platform, from conception through implementation. Build strong relationships with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders. Provide consultation to identify needs and priorities, including market research, internal analysis, design principles, design alternatives, modeling implications, employee and cost impacts, and communication and transition plans. Own the preparation and delivery of quarter-end and annual board deliverables, ensuring materials are accurate, insightful, and professionally presented. Design and create executive-ready presentations for the CHRO, CEO, and Compensation Committee, clearly articulating findings and strategic recommendations. Develop and maintain sophisticated compensation models using advanced Excel techniques. Conduct deep-dive analytics on compensation trends, market data, and program effectiveness to provide data-driven recommendations. Provide Operational Analytics & Reporting that identifies actionable opportunities to drive incremental efficiency and growth for business partners. Influence strategic decision making and initiative prioritization through analysis-based recommendations. Leverage Business Intelligence & Data to turn raw data into actionable insights via self-service datasets, reports, and visualizations. Support SLC compensation deliverables such as the annual compensation cycle, market benchmarking, salary and incentive structure design, compensation recommendations, and job evaluation. Monitor external developments and trends impacting employee reward programs and proactively identify strategies to respond. Collaborate with HR and Communications to develop and implement effective communication and change management plans to enhance the employee experience and perceived value of programs. What you will need to succeed

Bachelor's degree and 8 to 10 years of relevant experience. CCP or CBP designation preferred. Strong knowledge of compensation practices and theory, including incentive program design. Solid understanding of HR programs and connections. Excellent interpersonal and consulting skills with ability to build partnerships within HR and with business leaders to deliver compensation solutions. Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to various audiences. Strong project management and planning skills, with the ability to lead, plan, organize and resource complex assignments. Advanced Excel skills and spreadsheet analysis. Strong PowerPoint skills for audience-specific presentations. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and financial modeling skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently and proactively. Ability to handle ambiguity and develop a course of action. Mindset

For US applicants the base salary range is $168.2k - $252.3k USD. For Canadian applicants the base salary range is $123.1k - $172.3k CAD. The base salary is competitive and eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award plus competitive benefits. Why SLC Management?
