Overview

Senior Manager / Manager of Compound Management at Recursion. You will be a pivotal leader in our mission to decode biology to radically improve lives. You will guide a team that serves as the foundation of our drug discovery platform, managing our extensive inventory of compounds and reagents with meticulous attention to detail. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance and develop processes that drive efficiency and success, and scale operations to support high-throughput screening capabilities. The Role

In This Role, You Will Lead and mentor a team of compound management associates, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and high performance. Develop and implement strategies for sample and reagent logistics, inventory management, and distribution to support automated screening platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and deliver solutions that accelerate research and development pipelines. Drive evaluation and implementation of new technologies and systems to improve efficiency and quality of sample management. Ensure data integrity and quality for all managed samples, contributing to the robustness of experimental data. Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to support compound acquisition and management. Team & Experience

The Team You’ll Join You will lead the Compound Management team within Recursion’s discovery engine working with robotic platforms and laboratory automation. You will contribute to a fast-paced environment with multiple projects aimed at bringing new therapeutics to patients faster. The Experience You’ll Need Bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in compound management, sample management, or related field in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. 3+ years in a leadership or management role with mentoring responsibilities. Expertise with automated liquid handlers and laboratory automation; familiarity with LIMS or other sample management software. Strong preference for Cellario systems, Mosaic LIMS, and Hamilton Star liquid handlers. Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities. Location, Compensation & Benefits

Working Location & Compensation This is an office-based position at our US headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah. Employees are expected to work in the office 100% of the time. Estimated base salary range: $118,600 – $173,000 (USD), plus eligibility for annual bonus, equity compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package. Values & About Recursion
