Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Patent Support Billing Specialist, serving as an integral player on our dynamic Intellectual Property team. The successful candidate will have the ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects to meet deadlines, work well in a team-oriented environment, and the flexibility to work overtime occasionally as needed. This position can reside in either of the following locations: San Francisco, Silicon Valley (Palo Alto), Orange County, Century City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Houston, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington D.C., with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule. Key responsibilities

Generates and distributes demand and monthly proformas to billing lawyers. Processes edits, transfers, and changes as directed. Produces draft bills for approval. Cooperatively works with billing lawyers and staff to prepare final client bills. Researches client account activities, resolves billing inquiries, and generates reports. Experience and qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in accounting or accounting certification preferred Must possess a minimum of two years of Elite billing experience Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Application and benefits

Salary ranges vary by location and are listed in the job posting as follows: Century City, Los Angeles, Orange County CA and Seattle, WA: $64,700 - $103,475 Chicago, IL: $59,300 - $94,850 San Francisco and Silicon Valley, CA: $67,400 - $107,825 Washington, D.C.: $62,000 - $99,200 The base salary wage range will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on factors including prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Final salary may be outside the stated range based on individual circumstances. The total compensation package may include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, and employees may enroll in eligible benefit plans, including: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, business travel accident insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for the employee and eligible dependents Employee Assistance Program, Work/Life Services, HealthAdvocate, Bright Horizons Back-Up Child Care, and WageWorks Commuter Benefits 9 paid holidays per calendar year, 2 personal days, up to 20 vacation days per year Paid sick leave as applicable by state law Bereavement leave, paid parental leave (up to 12 weeks per year), and paid pregnancy disability leave (up to 10 weeks per pregnancy) Details of participation in benefit plans will be provided if an offer of employment is made.
