Overview
Plaid is hiring an Enterprise Partnerships Account Executive. Plaid powers tools that help people interact with their finances, working with thousands of companies to connect financial accounts to apps and services. Plaid’s network spans 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. The GTM Partnerships team unlocks "one to many" customer relationships with technology platforms, and the Partnerships AE supports our Enterprise partners by driving deal execution and cross-functional orchestration. Responsibilities
Lead enterprise-level partner deals from sourcing through close, managing multi-stakeholder negotiations and driving adoption. Evolve vertical GTM strategies across Public Sector, Education, Healthcare, and AI. Collaborate with Payments, Credit, and Identity/Fraud pods to align go-to-market efforts. Translate partner and customer needs into structured opportunities and lead deals from sourcing through execution. Navigate long sales cycles (6–12 months) with complex decision dynamics, building urgency against the status quo. Segment AE / seller enablement and coaching related to the Reseller Partnership model. Be accountable to quarterly partner acquisition targets and vertical penetration goals. Engage in acquisition strategy building and ACV forecasting. Solve complex partner challenges by working cross-functionally with Sales, Risk, Legal, Finance, Commercial, Marketing, and Business Operations. Qualifications
4+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, and/or account management. Demonstrated ability to execute and win 7-figure+ ARR enterprise deals. Strong understanding of Plaid’s differentiated value across data flows, compliance, APIs, and value-added products (e.g., Signal, Plaid Check). Ability to articulate Plaid’s role in customer success through technical and business lenses. Proven ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deal environments with long cycles. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to drive cross-team alignment. Experience signing new Plaid Reseller Partners. Customer empathy and a deep desire to see partners succeed. Natural curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to work in a high-growth environment. Ability to work with diverse teams and build long-lasting relationships; strong relationship-building with internal and external executives. Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $120,000 – $165,120 per year. The target base salary varies by location. Additional compensation in the form of equity and/or commissions may apply. Plaid offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay and benefits are subject to change in accordance with applicable plans. Geographic Zones
Zone 1 – New York City and San Francisco Bay Area; Zone 2 – Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington D.C.; Zone 3 – Austin, Boston, Denver, Houston, Portland, Sacramento, San Diego; Zone 4 – Raleigh-Durham and all other US cities. Equal Opportunity
