The Personal Lines Account Executive manages an assigned book of business, develops client relationships and delivers to grow and retain clients. Possible collaboration with the Producer; the AE oversees management of assigned accounts including interface with decision makers, proactive consultation, insurance program design, carrier interface/marketing, coordination of risk control resources, collaboration with HUB colleagues, and negotiation of coverage terms and conditions. The AE may work with other client service team members to support clients. Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as HUB’s primary consultant to the client, when assigned with Producers on accounts. Retain the account and act as the de facto technical expert and broker-consultant. When no Producer is assigned, the AE may be primarily responsible for client relationship management. Ensure Producers are fully informed about client meetings and interfaces to competently manage the client relationship. Establish and maintain strong relationships with C-Level and other decision makers for assigned HUB clients. Obtain detailed knowledge of the client’s business and industry; articulate exposures to loss, insurance coverages, and appropriate risk management solutions. Maintain relationships with insurance carrier marketing, underwriting, and risk control staff; be familiar with each carrier’s products and services in support of assigned clients. Oversee and coordinate delivery of HUB services throughout the policy cycle, including stewardship reports, risk control services, carrier meetings, claims reviews, and renewal/marketing of coverage requests. Collaborate with AM colleagues to deliver HUB services and mentor AM team members as appropriate. Provide input to the Head of P&C on the performance of AM staff on assigned accounts. Ensure client service needs are promptly delivered; be accountable for the competence, timeliness, and quality of all deliverables. Conduct annual client reviews with coverage and loss control recommendations to reduce total cost of risk; identify cross-sell opportunities where appropriate. Maintain current receivable status for assigned clients; pursue collections of receivables past due as needed and document unresolved circumstances. Design and deliver effective group presentations and internal training for sales or renewal purposes. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED; College degree strongly preferred Minimum of 5-7 years of related insurance experience (brokerage experience preferred) or equivalent combination of education & experience Currently licensed in good standing in required lines and states Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with internal and external customers Ability to present information clearly to groups of managers, clients, and the general public Critical thinking to evaluate solutions and approaches to problems Desire to learn and grow within the insurance industry Ability to respond to customer needs and handle difficult situations promptly and accurately Confidence to interact with all levels within the organization Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and collaborate with vendors to meet client needs Team orientation and ability to coach others Strong information gathering, analysis, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with accuracy Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and agency management systems Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, proportions, and percentages Working Conditions and Physical Demands
