Hospitalist Physician
to join the inpatient internal medicine team at
VCU Tappahannock Hospital a small, rural hospital nestled on the scenic banks of the Rappahannock River.

Position Highlights
Daytime Duties :
Admit patients from the ED or outpatient setting. Manage a daily service of 10-15 inpatients. Provide stepdown/intensive care with virtual intensivist support. Co-manage surgical patients.
Night Shifts : Cross-cover the inpatient service and handle ED admissions. Teaching Opportunities : Mentor VCU Internal Medicine residents and other learners, as desired.
Qualifications
Board Certified/Eligible
in Internal Medicine. Experience managing complex inpatients. Understanding of the hospitalist role in both rural and academic settings. Dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.
