The Department of Ophthalmology at UNC - Chapel Hill is seeking a full-time open rank oculoplastic/orbital surgeon. Academic rank and salary are negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
MD or DO required. Candidates for this position should have completed a 12-24 month post-residency fellowship training in oculoplastic/orbital surgery. Requirements include graduation from an approved ophthalmic residency training program and satisfactory completion of a fellowship. Board certification or eligibility, and eligibility for licensure in North Carolina is required. Excellent training in surgery of the orbit is necessary. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
The successful candidate must have excellent clinical & surgical skills, ophthalmic ultrasound experience, and a strong commitment to teaching and demonstrate an ongoing interest in clinical and/or basic science research. Special Physical/Mental Requirements
