Overview
Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterology Physician Assistant (PA) in Danbury, CT. The position involves seeing patients in the outpatient office and hospital with a Monday–Friday workday schedule and no call responsibility. Responsibilities
Provide gastroenterology care to patients in both outpatient and hospital settings as part of the Digestive Health Institute at Nuvance Health. The role supports a growing GI department within the Nuvance Health Medical Practice. Qualifications
Board-certified/board-eligible Physician Assistant with NCCPA certification New York State Physician Assistant license Federal DEA registration Experience in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology is preferred Experience with hepatobiliary services is desirable Strong interpersonal and communication skills About the Practice & Organization
Our practice is affiliated with Danbury Hospital. Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital with 371 beds, a Level II Trauma Center, and an annual ED volume of approximately 70,000 visits. The employed Medical Group includes 1,000+ physicians and advanced practice providers serving a broad region in western Connecticut and eastern New York. Nuvance Health serves 1.5 million residents across New York and Connecticut, with more than 2,600 aligned physicians and 12,000 employees across seven hospitals and a large network of primary care and specialty practices. Location
