Overview
EXCEPTIONAL GASTROENTEROLOGY POSITION CURRENTLY AVAILABLE AT LAHEY HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER IN BURLINGTON, MA The Division of Gastroenterology at LHMC is seeking an experienced, BC Gastroenterologist with an interest in motility to join its team. Our motility team provides comprehensive care and consultation with the support of a new motility lab. The Gastroenterology division includes more than 30 gastroenterologists, hepatologists, and advanced practice providers, all committed to compassionate, high-quality, patient-focused care. Providers see approximately 35,000 outpatients per year for GI and liver diseases including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, biliary tract disorders, pancreatic diseases, colon cancer, and esophageal disorders. Physicians perform approximately 25,000 procedures annually. The Department’s physicians are frequently recognized locally and nationally for excellence. The division offers a collegial and supportive environment with low turnover.
The GI Division also has an ACGME-accredited GI Fellowship Program with staff physicians holding academic appointments at Tufts Medical School. Staff gastroenterologists have opportunities to interact with fellows, residents, and medical students, and to teach at Tufts Medical School if desired. About LHMC
