Medical Director, Psychiatry
Location:
Maryland (Waldorf, Landover, Baltimore)
Reports To:
CEO, K&I Healthcare Services
Role Summary:
The Medical Director will provide strategic and clinical leadership across all medication management and psychiatric programs. This individual ensures CARF/COMAR compliance, supervises prescribing providers, and upholds medical integrity system-wide.
Key Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric oversight to NPs and other prescribing clinicians
Lead monthly case reviews and chart audits
Implement quality and risk management protocols
Maintain collaboration/supervision per Maryland law
Lead clinical compliance during audits or site visits
Requirements
MD or DO, board-certified in Psychiatry
Active Maryland license
5+ years clinical experience (outpatient preferred)
Experience supervising mid-level providers
This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to make a significant impact on healthcare delivery while leading a dynamic team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $230,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
