Staff Data Scientist
to lead the design and analysis of experiments, shape product strategy, and drive business-critical decisions through data. This is a high-impact IC role — perfect for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, wants ownership from day one, and is excited to help scale one of the most ambitious AI product teams in the industry. You’ll work across Product, Engineering, and Exec leadership to bring clarity, rigor, and innovation to how we use data to build and optimize powerful, intelligent user experiences. What You\'ll Do
Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of
A/B tests
and product experiments Partner with engineering and product to embed
data-first thinking
into the product development cycle Build and scale analytical frameworks, data models, and dashboards that power decisions across the org Analyze the performance and impact of
machine learning models
(e.g., LLMs, classifiers, recommendations) Identify and communicate high-leverage insights that influence roadmap and strategy Champion and scale a culture of
experimentation
across teams What We\'re Looking For
5+ years
in data science or product analytics at high-scale consumer or marketplace companies Advanced
SQL
and
Python
skills Deep knowledge of
statistics
and
experiment design Experience in experimentation-focused environments (e.g., Stripe, Airbnb, DoorDash, Pinterest, Cash App) Strong ability to reason about ML model behavior , tradeoffs, and impact Exceptional communicator — able to influence product, engineering, and executive stakeholders Comfortable operating as a high-level
individual contributor
