Overview
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital, located in Tarboro, NC, are seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine-Pediatrics physician to join their Hospitalist program. New graduates and Visa candidates are encouraged to apply. Clinical responsibilities will include: Level II nursery, well newborn nursery, daily rounding, discharges, vent management and intubation Opportunity for procedures including central line placement, thoracentesis, etc. Training provided 7 on 7 off schedule: 7a-7p with 2/7p-7a shifts every other week ICU coverage by pulmonary critical care physicians from 8-5pm; hospitalist team covers nights and weekends Collaborative team of 6 hospitalists Anticipated volume is 10-12 patients Strong air and ground support to transfer patients to ECU Health Medical Center (Level I trauma center in Greenville, NC) System-wide integrated EMR — EPIC BLS and ACLS certifications required Qualifications
