Overview

The Wake Forest Health Network Gastroenterology - High Point practice is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our community-based High Point, North Carolina team. This 100% outpatient role involves working with a collaborative group of gastroenterologists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The APP will manage a range of gastrointestinal conditions, including GERD, IBD, liver disease, and colorectal cancer screening, with access to advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations in medical/surgical settings as a team-focused provider. Use medical decision-making to determine appropriate patient care plans. Collaborate with the medical team for effective team-based care. Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures; explain procedures and expectations to patients. Apply procedural skills per department or practice guidelines. Participate in basic science and clinical research projects when available. Precept students and/or medical learners as appropriate. Uphold organizational missions, values, and cultural commitments. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described.

Qualifications

Physician Assistant (PA) Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master’s Degree preferred Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, Certified by NCCPA Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required to start Current DEA and DPS registration, for prescription writing, required to start Nurse Practitioner (NP) Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program; Master’s degree or higher required Current North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner licenses Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCC Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required to start Current DEA and DPS registration, for prescription writing, required to start

Pay Range

$50.05 – $75.10
