About the role
The Solution Director is a strategic, customer-facing sales overlay role focused on unlocking growth within the Cisco customer base. Leveraging data-driven insights and deep knowledge of the Cisco portfolio, this individual identifies sales opportunities, accelerates deal cycles, and partners closely with account teams to develop targeted engagement campaigns. Their primary mission is to increase and accelerate revenue growth and deliver enhanced value to clients throughout the technology lifecycle. Travel to customer meetings may be required. Salary range:
$150K - $175K USD + Bonus What you\'ll be doing
Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values. Opportunity Identification & Analysis Analyze customer consumption, telemetry, renewal, and install base data to uncover expansion opportunities within the Cisco CX customer base Leverage both Cisco and Computacenter tools to identify upsell and cross-sell signals Segment and prioritize accounts based on sales potential, lifecycle stage, and existing entitlements Sales Strategy & Campaign Execution
Develop and execute targeted sales acceleration strategies aligned with Cisco portfolio and CX offerings Collaborate with internal sales account teams, customer success, and renewals teams to launch and execute data-driven campaigns Align campaigns with Cisco rebates, promotions, and incentive programs to maximize profitability
Sales Enablement & Overlay Support
Serve as a Cisco sales subject matter expert (SME) and overlay to the sales team, guiding them on positioning Cisco offers that drive outcomes Deliver training, playbooks, and pipeline guidance to help sales teams adopt CX lifecycle selling motions Partner with Cisco account teams and CX specialists in coordination with Computacenter account teams to co-develop GTM plans and coordinate execution
Lead client-facing meetings as a trusted advisor to guide customers through the CX lifecycle value journey and qualify growth potential Articulate business outcomes tied to Cisco solutions and how they align with customer business goals Support renewal and expansion efforts by connecting Cisco CX insights to customer ROI and operational benefits Reporting & Forecasting
Maintain a CX-specific opportunity funnel and regularly report on pipeline progression, campaign impact, and attainment against growth targets Track measurable KPIs such as campaign success rate, attach rate, renewal velocity, and customer health metrics

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. 10+ years of relevant experience in an IT environment IT sales experience, selling multi-million dollar deals with gross profits of $2M plus Legally eligible to work in the United States Expertise in the latest technologies for designated specialty area. Ability to build effective and constructive relationships. Understand and appreciate competitors’ strategy. Ability to resolve significant customer issues while moving the business forward. Willingness to collaborate and share best practices. Ability to lead formal negotiations to achieve successful outcomes for large value contractual sales. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to use discretion and independent judgment. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present in a group setting. Project a professional image and strong business savvy during customer interactions. Knowledge of technology and the industry channel dynamics.
