Overview
The
Director of Finance
will serve as a member or the hospital
executive leadership
team, reporting to the VP of Finance Operations, the Finance Director oversees the financial operations of the hospital entity. This role provides
strategic leadership
in financial
planning/forecasting, capital planning,
budgeting, financial reporting, as well as ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements within a highly matrixed organization. Why work at Presbyterian? Bachelors degree in a related field required. Masters degree in
Hospital Administration or Business Administration preferred. 5 years of progressive experience in hospital finance operations, in leadership positions preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Work with a high degree of independence and possess strong judgment. Responsibilities
Financial Operations Management
Lead and oversee all financial functions, including budgeting, planning, reporting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
Manage the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Executive Collaboration & Strategic Insight
Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights that support decision-making and drive organizational growth.
Advise on the financial feasibility of new programs and business development opportunities.
Operational Efficiency & Performance Monitoring
Lead initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency across financial processes.
Monitor daily operating results to ensure revenues, expenses, and labor remain within performance targets.
Team Leadership & Development
Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Risk Management & Compliance
Oversee financial risk management, internal controls, and audit functions.
