Trying to fill multiple Hospitalist positions in Michigan. Open locations include Lenawee County (SE Michigan), Upper Peninsula (Dickson County), Grand Traverse County, and SE Michigan (Lenawee County). Shifts vary by location and may include day and/or night coverage. Competitive compensation with housing, airfare, and mileage where noted. Responsibilities
Hospitalist coverage for inpatient and ICU teams as described per location. Respond to Rapid Response and codes as appropriate (ED/ICU), with supervision for APPs where applicable. Day and night coverage as specified, with telemedicine supports where noted. Supervise APPs; no procedures required in some assignments; ACLS required for certain roles. Open ICU/IMC beds and patient census as detailed per site (varies by location). Qualifications
Board-certified/Board-eligible Internal Medicine/Hospital Medicine as required by assignment. Credentialing and ongoing eligibility required for start and continuity of coverage. Ability to perform or supervise necessary procedures where specified (e.g., central line, intubation, vent management) at ICU sites where indicated. ACLS certification required for applicable positions. Ability to work in high-volume inpatient settings with varying census and admits. Locations and Details
Lenawee County, SE Michigan: Day shift 7am–7pm; 2 day providers (1 ICU, 1 non-ICU); adult inpatient with 8–12 census and 1–3 day admits; night coverage via telemedicine with 2nd provider as indicated. Upper Peninsula (Dickson County, Michigan): Day shift 7am–7pm; no swing/night shifts; open ICU with 4 ICU beds and 4 IMC beds; 49-bed hospital; day census 25–30; day admits 2–5; night telehealth with 2–5 night admits. Grand Traverse County, Michigan: Tertiary care center with 400 beds; open ICU with 40 ICU beds; APP shift times day 7am–7pm and night 7pm–7am; day providers 12 and night providers 6; day census 260; day admits 30; night census 400; night admits 10; MDs run codes; no procedures required; APP supervision by hospitalist; ACLS required. SE Michigan: Lenawee County; Day shift 7am–7pm; 2 day providers (1 ICU, 1 non-ICU); patient census 8–12; day admits 1–3; codes run by Sound team for inpatient & ICU; central line, intubation, vent management & pressor setup required where noted.
