Your presence will reduce delays in emergency OB/GYN care, improve outcomes, increase patient satisfaction and support community clinicians. At Grand Strand Medical Center (GSMC), the birthing process is a priority. From childbirth preparation to discharge, the compassionate staff at GSMC care with new families every step of the way. GSMC has a variety of pain management options, spacious rooms, comprehensive high-risk pregnancy services offered by Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, and a Level II special care nursery. GSMC currently sees approximately 700 annual deliveries. Myrtle Beach
