Responsibilities

14-hour night shifts and possible 24-hour in-house shifts -- minimum 5 shifts monthly

Pediatric inpatient service and newborn nursery coverage -- no deliveries

Dedicated call room provided for physicians

Medical Response Team and Code Blue response duties

Required procedures include lumbar punctures and circumcisions

Emergency department consults with PICU backup available

Level I nursery rounds, admissions, and discharges

Ongoing coverage opportunity
