A correctional facility is seeking a family medicine DNP for locum tenens coverage. About the Facility Location
The facility is located south of Anchorage, Alaska. About the Clinician\'s Workday
This is a 6-month NP/PA position starting August 4, 2025, with a fast credentialing process of just one week. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, with no call required. The provider will see 812 adult patients per day and also review external medical records and labs. An active AK license, DEA, and a clear background check are required. The role uses the TechCare EMR system. Support staff includes an MD, other NPs, nurses, and supervisors; providers will never work alone. The ideal candidate should have a strong, personable demeanor, as personality is prioritized over experience. Additional Job Details
