Overview
Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center seeks to employ a full-time radiation oncologist to expand our gynecologic oncology program (with an emphasis on brachytherapy) and to join and enhance a secondary site, with potential involvement in lymphoma, breast, benign, and radiopharmaceutical programs. Responsibilities
Provide radiation oncology services with a focus on gynecologic brachytherapy and contribute to program development within the Phoenix area. Become an essential member of a small team of radiation oncologists to build a top-tier centrally located practice in Phoenix. Achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at SJHMC and Dignity Health Arizona hospitals. Deliver clinically excellent, evidence-based care and support clinical research and teaching. Obtain acceptable references from supervisors, peers, subordinates, and registered nurses. Abide by and promote the mission and values of Dignity Health and CommonSpirit Health. Demonstrate the ability to build respectful relationships with colleagues, staff, patients, and people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Being bilingual is a bonus. Qualifications
Have a current AZ Medical License or be eligible for an Arizona State Medical License as an MD or DO. Fellowship in Brachytherapy is a plus, though not required if there is significant experience in training or recent practice. Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (or board eligible for new graduates). Where You'll Work

The candidate will help develop the gynecologic oncology program with an emphasis on brachytherapy and may join the lymphoma, breast, benign, and radiopharmaceutical programs depending on interest. Located in the heart of Phoenix, St. Joseph’s is a 571-bed, not-for-profit hospital and a flagship of Dignity Health, part of CommonSpirit Health. Pay Range
$222.67 - $276.20 /hour Other details: full-time role with opportunities for program development and collaboration within a renowned multi-specialty health system.
