Overview
St. Jude Heritage Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE OB Hospitalist/Laborist physician to join the Obstetrics and Gynecology team. This opportunity is inpatient-only and based at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton. Duties include evaluating obstetric and gynecologic patients in triage on Labor and Delivery or the emergency department, admitting patients as needed, managing and delivering obstetrical patients, rounding on hospitalized antepartum and post-operative patients, performing C-sections and other surgeries. Evaluate obstetric and gynecologic patients in triage on Labor and Delivery or the emergency department Admit patients as needed and manage and deliver obstetrical patients Rounding on hospitalized antepartum and post-operative patients Perform C-sections and other obstetric/gynecologic surgeries Provide inpatient-only obstetric care within the team Qualifications
MD/DO required Board certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Experience preferred (at least 2 years); new graduates with strong training may be considered Two years of work experience outside of residency training Epic EHR experience Minimum 7 twenty-four hour shifts per month DaVinci Robot available if interested Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $271,055 – $360,188 per year. The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation. Providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by the medical group. Salary range subject to variation in accordance with applicable state law.
