Overview
Chief Financial Officer – MEP Engineering and Design Services – Private Equity. Our client is a well-established, highly profitable lower middle market mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering and design services business supporting the commercial and residential construction services sector. The company is backed by a leading private equity sponsor planning acquisitive and organic growth initiatives to expand across the Southeast. The Chief Financial Officer will strategically partner with the CEO and investors to drive ambitious acquisitive growth with an intimate understanding of operations and the ability to build out process. The CFO will lead a lean, high-performance finance and accounting function with a hands-on approach focusing on upgrading KPIs and reporting capabilities to support data-driven decision making. A base and bonus compensation package is offered along with long-term equity incentives. Responsibilities
Strategically partner with the CEO and investors to drive acquisitive growth and operational expansion. Lead a lean, high-performance finance and accounting function with a hands-on approach. Upgrade KPIs and reporting capabilities to support data-driven decision making. Develop and implement processes to support growth in a growth-focused engineering and construction services platform. Provide strategic and analytic input for M&A growth initiatives and integration efforts. Drive ERP implementations and related system improvements. Qualifications
Experience leading a growth-focused engineering and construction services platform with a strategic, analytic, and operational mindset. Strategic player/coach management style. Strong understanding of percentage of completion accounting. Preference for experience driving M&A growth strategies and leading ERP implementations. Location
