Software Engineer II - Site Reliability Engineer at Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology. We reimagine magical viewing experiences while transforming Disney’s media business for the future. The Product & Data Engineering team owns end-to-end development for Disney’s consumer-facing products, including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and experiences across ESPN, Marvel, Disney Studios, NatGeo, and ABC News. You will bridge development and operations by improving and maintaining deployment systems, observability, and testing platforms. You’ll join engineers who build and manage systems powering Hulu & Disney+ streaming clients on smart TVs, smartphones, gaming consoles, FireTV, Apple TV, Roku, and more. You will help build and maintain systems that: Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates across a large topology of teams and services Support rapid, safe deployments including test automation, static code scanning, and canary deployments Build observability for services including SLOs, Golden Signals, Distributed Tracing, and Real User Monitoring (RUM) Manage capacity across hundreds of services Measure and manage cost and implement processes to track DORA metrics Observe and manage costs across services Responsibilities and Duties
Improve and maintain CI/CD systems and automation for build/test/deploy Maintain test automation platforms for load and functional testing Manage infrastructure as code and mentor teams on infrastructure automation Develop and maintain observability systems and practices to ensure reliability Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and defect remediation Establish systems for observing and managing costs across a large topology of systems and services Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training
Basic Qualifications 3+ years of relevant professional experience Experience in a DevOps or SRE role Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Experience with incident response Experience with containerization Experience with CI/CD tools Experience programming in Java or a JVM language Experience working on cross-team projects Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Strong communication skills and a desire to share and learn Required Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience 工作概要

A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided, in addition to the full range of medical/financial/other benefits, depending on level and position offered.
