Assistant/Associate Professor – Acute Care Surgery. The Department of Surgery, Division of Acute Care Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks an outstanding early to mid-career Acute Care Surgeon to join our thriving practice. Care of surgical patients on the Trauma/Emergency General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care services. Education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Independent research with protected time for research, commensurate with supported activity. Qualifications
Board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Clinician-Educator track at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. Start date negotiable; position will remain open until filled. Compensation and Benefits
The expected base pay range for this position is $350,000 - $470,000. Compensation is competitive and linked to experience, and includes excellent healthcare and retirement benefits. Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered will be determined based on factors including experience and qualifications (years since terminal degree, training, field or discipline), departmental budget availability, internal comparators, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
