On any given day at Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology, we’re reimagining ways to create magical viewing experiences for the world’s most beloved stories while also transforming Disney’s media business for the future. The Product & Data Engineering team is responsible for end to end development for Disney’s world-class consumer-facing products, including streaming platforms Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+, and digital products & experiences across ESPN, Marvel, Disney Studios, NatGeo, and ABC News. We’re looking for a Software Engineer II – Site Reliability Engineer to bridge development and operations by improving and maintaining deployment systems, observability, and testing platforms that power Hulu & Disney+ streaming clients across devices. Responsibilities

Improve and maintain CI/CD systems and processes by designing and developing automation for build/test/deploy. Maintain test automation platforms for load and functional testing to ensure service quality. Manage infrastructure as code and mentor teams on infrastructure automation best practices. Develop and maintain observability systems and practices to ensure reliability of services. Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and defect remediation. Establish systems for observing and managing cost across a large topology of systems and services. Required Education, Experience, and Skills

Basic Qualifications 3+ years of relevant professional experience Experience in a DevOps or SRE role Experience with IaC Experience with incident response Experience with containerization Experience with CI/CD tools Experience programming in Java or a JVM language Experience working on cross-team projects Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong communication skills Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, or equivalent work experience Compensation

The hiring range for this position varies by location and is published in the job description. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and candidate experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, along with medical, financial, and/or other benefits dependent on role.
